Anxiety

Anxiety disorders can interfere with daily life in a variety of ways as they may negatively impact relationships, work or school performance, and life satisfaction.

Stone House Associates has several practitioners who specialize in the treatment of anxiety disorders, including panic attacks, phobias, generalized anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, social anxiety, and obsessive-compulsive disorder in adults and older adolescents.

A cognitive behavioral approach is often utilized as part of the treatment approach for anxiety disorders, but our practitioners may also use other effective approaches including but not limited to DBT, EMDR, solutions-oriented therapy and Internal Family Systems.
