In my practice, I seek to create a safe space for working through life’s challenges in order to live a more fulfilled and engaged life. I am warm, compassionate, and open-minded. I believe that the therapeutic relationship is collaborative. You are the expert in your own life. We will work together to address your concerns and to improve your quality of life by understanding your strengths and values, gaining new skills and exploring new perspectives.

I provide individual therapy for adults. My approach is eclectic, and will be tailored to the individual, but draws from primarily from Cognitive Behavior Therapy, (CBT) Applied Information Processing and Internal Family Systems Theories, and is informed by neuroscientific principles. I value a holistic model, in which physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being all contribute to overall health. I am comfortable with discussions of faith. I have a special interest in cross-cultural issues.

I am in the office Tuesdays and Wednesdays. I currently accept BCBS, CIGNA, MVP, Aetna, Medicare and Medicaid and offer a sliding scale for those wishing to pay out of pocket.

My interests outside of practice include travel, social justice issues, time with family and friends, music and enjoying the outdoors.
