I am a licensed clinical social worker and a licensed alcohol and drug counselor with 30 years of experience in the fields of substance abuse and mental health. I offer a continuum of care to clients with co-occurring needs.
My group services include the following: an early stabilization group offered 2 mornings a week, a relapse prevention/harm reduction group which meets weekly for those clients wanting to maintain sobriety and/or stability in the ongoing recovery process, and a weekly treatment group for women in recovery addressing the issues of self- esteem and safety. All groups encourage sober networking, practice in relapse prevention skills, and the development of improved strategies to manage uncomfortable feelings and/or symptoms.
In addition, I am available for individual treatment services to address a variety of recovery and mental health issues. The frequency and focus of treatment is a collaborative effort, designed to be supportive and respectful of the client’s objectives and available resources.
My treatment style is strengths-based and solution-focused, utilizing the resources within and around the client to better meet their needs and encourage progress on personal and/or recovery goals.
I take Medicaid and some private insurance.
