In my practice, I seek to create a safe space for working through life’s challenges in order to live a more fulfilled and engaged life. I am warm, compassionate, and open-minded. I believe that the therapeutic relationship is collaborative. You are the expert in your own life. We will work together to address your concerns and to improve your quality of life by understanding your strengths and values, gaining new skills and exploring new perspectives.

I provide individual therapy for adults and older adolescents. My approach is eclectic, and will be tailored to the individual, but primarily draws from cognitive-behavioral, acceptance based, positive psychology, and narrative models. I value a holistic model, in which physical, emotional, and spiritual well being all contribute to overall health. I am comfortable with discussions of faith.

I am in the office on Wednesdays and Fridays. I currently accept BCBS, CIGNA, and Medicaid and offer a sliding scale for those wishing to pay out of pocket.

My activities outside of practice include:

Member of Board of Directors, Joint Urban Ministry Project – an interfaith emergency drop-in center for those in financial crisis

Volunteer, Vermont Refugee Resettlement Program – helping New Americans to navigate the many challenges in adjusting to a new culture.
