I have 25 years of mental health experience since graduating from Columbia University in NYC.  I have always worked in the field of mental health beginning with substance abuse and incarcerated populations.   I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, EMDR, and Schema therapy in my practice, and am in the process of integrating Feedback Informed Treatment to better serve my clients.  I also work for Adoption Advocates as an adoption social worker and provide psycho educational evaluations to Vermont Surrogacy Network.

My style is interactive and collaborative.  I welcome people who are ready to work together to make the changes that they are seeking.  We will work together to create steps to achieve your goals.   I accept most insurances and work Monday through Friday with a varying schedule.

Outside of the office I am part of the Pet Peace of Mind Hospice program that allows dying people to remain with their pets.  I am also a member of the Red Cross Mental Health Disaster Relief team in Vermont.  I am currently serving as a board member for Vermont’s National Association of Social Workers with an emphasis on increasing membership and learning opportunities.  I am a huge dog lover and in addition to my 3 dogs have been a foster home for 50 dogs while working with local rescues.
